Multi-day canoe hire on the River Wye
A two to five day canoe hire trip will see you starting from the small village of Glasbury-on-Wye, from where you will paddle between 22 miles and 62 miles downstream, depending on the length of canoe trip you wish to take.
Your exciting multi-day canoe trip will begin by arriving at our Canoe Hire Centre on the first day, where we will sign you in and equip you with a buoyancy aid, paddle and 1 large dry barrel & 1 small dry barrel per canoe. Once you and your group are packed & ready, you will be transported down to the starting point in Glasbury-on-Wye where, our experienced staff will give you a short briefing on the river and show you some basic paddling techniques to see you through, before launching you & your boats onto the water.
Each paddle day, you will enjoy a leisurely journey downstream with plenty of wildlife, birdlife and pretty river banks to see along the way and come the evening, you will pitch your tents up & enjoy a night under the stars before continuing onto your final destination.
Once you arrive at your chosen collection point, one of our hire team will collect you and transport you and the equipment back to the Canoe Hire Centre.
We have 2-man canoes, 3-man canoes and single sit-on-top kayaks available to hire.
