Want to hire a canoe on the River Wye? Our canoes and kayaks are available to hire for half days, full days and multi-day expeditions through the Wye Valley in Brecon, South Wales.

Our open canoes carry 2 to 3 people or you can hire a single sit-on kayak if you want to be independent! Our River Wye canoe hire is a great way to enjoy a paddle with family and friends looking to pass away a few hours. You can enjoy a half day canoe trip, taking you on a 2 to 2.5 hour leisurely paddle downstream to Hay-on-Wye (the famous town of book). Or, take yourselves on a full day trip which, will see you journey 4 to 5 hours downstream to Whitney-on-Wye; you can also squeeze in a picnic lunch along the way or stop in Hay for a pub lunch.

If you’re looking to really escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, multi-day River Wye canoe hire expeditions are available and can see you paddle up to 60 miles downstream passing Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Tintern along the way.

Never canoed or kayaked before and want to learn? Then join one of our taster days, where we will teach you the skills to allow you to paddle a canoe or kayak safely down the River Wye. We also offer a discounted days to schools, colleges and youth groups looking to give the children canoeing or kayaking experience with canoeing lessons and kayaking lessons on a natural river.

Our kayak and canoe trips on the River Wye include a drop off and collection service and with an ample sized free private car park at our canoe centre, you don’t need to worry about where to park or how to collect your cars at the end of the day.
