Want to hire a canoe to paddle down the stunning waters of the River Wye? Look no further than Canoe Hire Wales. Our canoes and kayaks are all available to hire for half days, full days and multi-day expeditions through the Wye Valley in Herefordshire and Brecon, South Wales.

Our open canoes carry 2 to 3 people or you can hire a single sit-on kayak or tanned,m (2 person) sit-on-top kayak. Our River Wye canoe hire is a great way to enjoy a paddle with family and friends looking to pass away a few hours. You can enjoy a half day canoe trip, taking you on a 2 to 2.5 hour leisurely paddle downstream to Hay-on-Wye (the famous town of book). Or, take yourselves on a full day trip which, will see you journey 4 to 5 hours downstream to Whitney-on-Wye; you can also squeeze in a picnic lunch along the way or stop in Hay for a pub lunch.

Never canoed or kayaked before or paddling with children? Then join one of our guided sessions, where you’ll not only be guided downstream by one of our experienced canoe instructors but you’ll learn a few skills to allow you to paddle a canoe or kayak safely down the River Wye – available for ages 5+ (conditions apply). 

Our kayak and canoe trips on the River Wye include a drop off and collection service and with an ample sized free private car park at our canoe centre, you don’t need to worry about where to park or how to collect your cars at the end of the day.
