Caving in the Brecon Beacons

Our caving sessions take place away from our activity centre, in the Southern side of the Brecon Beacons National Park (now Bannau Brycheiniog), where your instructor will meet you.

Boasting the largest cave entrance in South Wales, our caving sessions take place at Porth-yr-Ogof which is riddled with caverns and passages, making it an ideal cave for beginners to intermediates.  Join us to explore the subterranean world, under the guidance of one of our qualified and highly knowledgable cave leaders who will lead you through the extensive underground system, tying in a few sporting challenges along the way such as:

• Death Ledge
• The Cork Screw
• Mud Hall
• Graveyard
• Washing Machine
• Letter Box
• and many more!

An absolute must for those looking for an exciting but challenging day!

Still want more? Then go for the Full Day experience and explore two of the underground systems!

Don't worry! All that fun will be under the supervision of your experienced instructor.

• 5/3mm wetsuit
• Caving Oversuit
• Helmet & Lamp

WHAT TO BRING

• Swimwear for under wetsuit
• Towel
• Wellington Boots (footwear can be provided if needed)
• Do not bring valuables where possible

Deposits

A deposit of £20pp will be required in order to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to your activity date. If booking within two weeks of activity date full payment will be due at time of reservation.
